Who are we?
We are a fishing website dedicated to all aspects of fishing, including crab or mussel fishing, however, we mainly focus on angling.
We believe that fishing can bring inner peace and relaxation after a stressful day, general hustle and bustle of life, or …work… We want to share the peace of fishing and nature with you!
Our content covers everything from pond fishing to river adventures, with a special focus on species like trout, however, many other species are included (some are even invertebrates!). We also feature our sister brand, ReelFlyFishers, offering quality fly fishing gear at reasonable prices.

About the Founder
Dave, the founder of Angler Area, brings over 20 years of diverse fishing experience to the site. His journey began in Eastern Europe and continued in Canada, where he discovered new species and techniques. He spent many years fishing and exploring Canada’s ponds, lakes, and streams.
Dave’s passion lies in:
- Mastering various fishing methods, with a recent focus on fly fishing
- Exploring different fishing environments, from ponds to rivers
- Catching a wide range of species, including trout, walleye, and salmon, with a range of gear
- Show that fly fishing can catch much more than various (awesome) trout species
- Sharing knowledge and helping others improve their fishing skills
- Encourage mindful fishing as a way to unplug and rejuvenate
- Foster connections between nature and fellow fishing enthusiasts
